Adhered single ply systems are created when the material is bonded to the flat roof using a strong adhesive. This is the preferred choice for projects looking for a greater level of robustness or when mechanical fixation is not practical. Danosa’s Danopol adhered system can be applied to a range of substrates, from wooden decking to metal, insulation and concrete decking. It is supported by a 0.9 mm fleece that provides enhanced protection.

Single ply rubber roofs have been installed on a variety of flat roofs for decades. As a low cost, quick to install system, they’re perfect for retail outlets, factories, apartment buildings and domestic properties. A word of caution though: if you’re expecting foot traffic or equipment placement on your flat roof (think window cleaners, gutter cleaners, maintenance workers, etc), we recommend that you choose a more durable option, since single ply can tear.
